BMW X3

The BMW X3 is a compact SUV being one of the most reliable models from BMW, it is based on the 3 Series’ platform. BMW began manufacturing the first model of the BMW X3 in 2004 and the new and latest BMW X3 was introduced in 2010. The first BMW X3 has received a lot of controversy regarding the exterior and the interior design and was an unappreciated BMW by fans worldwide.

The first generation of BMW X3 was registered with the code name E83 and the second generation is called F25. BMW unveiled the new BMW X3 F25 in September 2010 at the Paris Motor Show.

In relation to design, the 2011 BMW X3 F25 received a compromising design and BMW fans have been more welcoming it. The BMW hope that the new model of X3 to be successful worldwide and this was confirmed because of its many sales.

2011 BMW X3 F25 received the M sport package being presented at the Paris Motor Show in 2010. On the outside, this package consists of: stiffer suspension, modified bumpers, alloy M wheels in 3 sizes (18 “, 19″, 20 “), chrome exhaust, and more. Inside are present the following changes: M steering wheel, leather sport seats, M sport shifter, aluminum inserts and more. The M package is available from mid 2011 and can be ordered on the BMW X3 xDrive20d, respectively xDrive35i.

The 2011 BMW X3 F25 is assembling in South Carolina (U.S.) and can be purchased with the following transmissions: 6 speed manual or 8 speed automatic. As engines we can mention following:
2 liter: xDrive20i – 184 hp
xDrive20d – 184 hp
3 liter: xDrive28i – 258 hp
xDrive30d – 258 hp
xDrive35d – 312 hp
xDrive35i – 306hp

BMW X3

The fastest BMW X3 model is the xDrive35i having an acceleration (0-100 km/h) of 5,7 seconds. The most economical model is the xDrive20d with an urban consumption of 6.7 liter, respectively 5,0 liter extra- urban.
